Co-op Options at Richard Pfaff
PAID CO-OP
If you have a job and are interested in turning your worked hours into school credits, then paid co-op may be an option for you! Your first step is to make an appointment with Guidance and Penny.
Jobs must be legal - paystubs and/or timesheets are used to calculate hours completed.
REGULAR CO-OP
Traditional unpaid co-op is also an option. It's a great chance to learn new skills, make job connections and work towards improving your resume. Your first step is to make an appointment with Guidance and Bow.
OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program)
To register for OYAP, you must be 16 with at least 16 credits completed. OYAP provides a wonderful opportunity to get high school credits, get paid AND earn valuable apprenticeship hours towards a recognized trade. If you're interested, speak to guidance and co-op (Penny or Bow) for more information.
