Every year, the OCDSB Student Recognition Awards celebrate students who have demonstrated initiative, the will to succeed, the dedication to finish what they started, and the commitment to achieve their personal best. Congratulations to Allegra Wallace-Harder, who is one of this year’s Student Recognition Award recipients!
Allegra first attended OCDSB Alternate programs as a student at First Place Program, where she became a real leader in the program and school. After successfully completing the program, Allegra chose to finish high school in the secondary program at Richard Pfaff Alternate, where she maintained perfect attendance in the 2018-2019 school year. She has shown remarkable resilience in the face of challenges.
Allegra has been a key leader in the annual Terry Fox Foundation Run, raising over $3000 during her time at First Place and Richard Pfaff Alternate – and twice spray-painting the principal’s hair in the process!
Allegra has shown perseverance and a commitment to achieving her best. She has been a great supporter, mentor, leader, friend, and ally to Alternate students and staff. Allegra will be pursuing a joint honours degree in Economics and Political Science this fall.
